Co-operatives + public health

Made in Common is about highlighting voices, ideas and examples of how we can “design out” inequality from our economy: how we produce and provide for one another.

We want to grow spaces and places that more fairly distribute income and wealth, give more people influence about where they live, and enable people’s capabilities to be healthy.

We explore spaces that are Made in Common: co-operatives, wider community wealth building approaches, and other initiatives to enhance democracy for a healthy society and planet.

To date, we've explored the public health connections and relationships with credit unions, food co-operatives and housing co-operatives.
